I speak to you telepathically, vibeing so strongly you must feel me..cause I’m truly feeling you.. If you only knew the sound of your voice makes me squirm… You make my body yearn to dance with your skin on mine, I burn to lay up on you, you make me moist I see you in my mind above me, Smiling sultry eyes pour more than memories Throughout my body, soothing the empty nights without you.. Straining to feel your heat as longing explodes, I reach to touch your sigh.. imploding in Technicolor as you stride unbridled in my mind……….. |
Leah is a poetess and spoken word artist. She is colorful. She is an artist on many levels, Poetry being her passion,
Spoken Word her way to give voice to what she’s learned at this level in her life. She has been published in the
SAN GABRIEL VALLEY POETRY QUARTERLY, THE AMERICAN POETS SOCIETY ANTHOLOGY FALL ’04,
THE FAMOUS POETS ANTHOLOGY COMPETITION FALL ‘04, MSLEXIA, POETIC DIVERSITY, POETIX.
COM. She also came in 3rd place at the DEFPOETRYJAM COMPETITION SUMMER ’04. Leah is an Urban Poet,
drawing inspiration from the world around her, and the way she views this life. She writes from the depth of her
spirit. Her message is to those of all ages
In June of 2004 Leah developed “The Write to Heal” workshops for kids at risk. In August of 2004 her first
workshop graduated from Mission College and the Y.A.P. program in Sylmar.
Her first collection of published poetry entitled “LEAHSLAND” is currently in print and available at Amazon.
com, Borders, Barnes & Nobles, etc. Leah brings a fresh new outlook and strength to the poetic spoken word arena.
