The Flash
by Eric Obame©
I push it in
I pull it out
I push it in
I pull it out
I do this for about a minute or two
And then it happens
Old faithful shoots again
The volcano blows its top
The cork comes off the bottle
Party
Not a party
She’s not smiling
My balloon is deflated
She won’t blow it back up
Perhaps I can pump myself back to full size
I just need a little time
I kiss her
Ear
Neck
Nipple
Belly
There, below the beltline
No go
She’s a statue
An angry looking one
If she wasn’t a woman—my woman
Bringing warmth into my life like the moon in the night
sky
More beautiful than Angelina Jolie in Gone In 60
Seconds
Her lips are as sweet as a pineapple
And she always seems to smell like strawberry ice
cream
If she wasn’t a woman
My woman
She’d be a gargoyle
A man must have control over his actions
I’m a boy
